Good value with the offer

This was my first purchase from Escentric Molecules. I've been eyeing Molecule 01 + Patchouli for a while but the price was a bit much. I signed up for their newsletter and got a 10% off code, which made it feel like a much better deal. Shipping took about a week to get to me in Texas, which was fine. The fragrance itself is really unique, I'm glad I finally tried it. For the price I paid, I think it was worth it. I might try a body wash next time if there's another offer.

Ordered a 100ml Molecule 02 during the recent holiday sale. Shipping took almost 2 weeks to get to the US, which felt a bit long. Is this typical for international orders?

For international from the UK, yeah, 2 weeks isn't uncommon, especially if it hit any customs delays. Mine usually take between 10-14 days to reach me in California. Was it tracked?

I'm confused about the difference between the 'Molecule' and 'Escentric' lines. I thought they were all basically the same Iso E Super thing. Can someone explain?

Molecule fragrances are minimalist – they contain only one aroma molecule. For example, Molecule 01 is just Iso E Super. Escentric fragrances contain the same aroma molecule but blended with other ingredients to create a more traditional, complex perfume. So Escentric 01 has Iso E Super plus other notes like lime and pink pepper.

Molecule is the pure single molecule. Escentric is that molecule plus other stuff to make it a proper scent. Think of Molecule as the base ingredient and Escentric as the finished dish.

Just got the Molecule 01 + Iris. It's beautiful but I swear I can't smell it after 10 minutes. Is this normal or am I nose-blind already?

Totally normal for Molecule 01 variants! It's Iso E Super, which is designed to interact with your natural scent. You'll catch whiffs of it throughout the day, and others will definitely smell it on you even if you don't. It's a 'your skin but better' kind of thing.

I think it's part of the charm. It's not supposed to be a loud, in-your-face scent. More of a subtle aura. Give it time, you'll start noticing it more, or rather, noticing when others react to it.

If you want something super versatile and understated, go for Molecule 01. It's pure Iso E Super, so it just enhances your natural scent. Escentric 01 is more of a complete fragrance with lime and pink pepper, so it has more of a traditional perfume vibe.

It really depends on what you're looking for. Molecule 01 is often called a 'non-perfume' for a reason. Escentric 01 is more of a proper fragrance, but still very light and airy. If you want to experiment, M01. If you want a compliment-getter, E01.
